We all have been in relationships that weren't balanced for one reason or another. I've known people who float from relationship to relationship hoping that this next relationship will fix what's wrong with them. Or at least will distract them from what's really wrong. And hey, relationships can distract us well, but in the end, nothing about us has fundamentally changed. We are exactly the same as before we got into the relationship. And once our relationship eventually fails, which we all know will happen in a matter of time, we are back at square one. Until we fix what is wrong within us, relationships will do nothing but prolong the inevitable.
I used the word 'relationship' way too much in this post.
